Comments for PHILANDER:
A pleasant enough sounding name except that there is no escaping the inevitable association that will be made to the word, "philanderer" -- not a very nice epitaph! If you like the -ander element, consider Lysander instead.-- leananshae 11/27/2007
This name should also be put in the section of Greek Mythology, since Philander is said to be a son of Apollo by Acacallis (sometimes called Acalle). [noted -ed]-- Lucille 11/10/2008
What an ugly name. It sounds quite pretentious, if it didn't immediately bring to mind the word.-- bananarama 7/27/2009
Cool meaning.-- Chrila96 12/16/2010
