Pola Negri, actually Apolonia Chałupiec (b. December 22nd 1896/January 3rd 1897, Lipno, d. August 1st 1987, San Antonio) was a Polish actress and an international star of silent cinema.
Pola Raksa, actually Apolonia Raksa (b. April 14th 1941, Lida) is a Polish actress. She’s considered to be one of the greatest Polish movie actress’ and a symbol of Polish cinema’s sexbomb in the 60’s and the 70’s.
Please do not name your child that if you live in Poland. This is the literal Polish word for fields. I've been named Pola in Poland & I cry at nights because I'm too young to legally change it.

Pola sounds sweet and calm in my opinion. I think it is better than both Paola and Paula.
