Ren is the first name of the protagonist from the popular movie 'Footloose', with his full name being Ren McCormack.

In The Tailor of Enbizaka novel, one of the main character's son's name is Ren. Kokutan-douji later used the name "Ren" while talking to the titular tailor.

The protagonist of Persona 5, shares the same name, Ren Amamiya.

Ren Nakata is a professional Japanese baseball player. He plays pitcher for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp.

Ren Hayakawa is a Japanese female archer. She had South Korean citizenship and was an athlete in archery, where South Korea has dominated since the 1980s. After her immigration to Japan with family, she was naturalized as a Japanese citizen. At the 2012 Summer Olympics she won a bronze medal for Japan in the women's team event. She then went on to reach the last 16 of the individual event of the same Olympics, where she was eliminated by the eventual gold medalist Ki Bo-Bae.

In the new show "Heroes Reborn," Ren is the name of the Japanese gamer who supports one of the main characters, Miko/ Katana Girl, who has the power to fight like a samurai and transport into a video game called Evernow. Ren is the number one gamer of Evernow, finds Miko, and travels across the world with her to help her battle the bad guys, in and out of the game.

Ren is the name of one of Ai's assistants in the anime, manga, and Japanese TV drama Hell Girl. He is so awesome. =D

Ren is also the name of two characters from the Kagetsu Toya and Melty Blood series by TYPE-MOON, Ren and White Ren.

Ren Stevens was the name of the older sister on the classic popular Disney Channel Series, "Even Stevens." She was played by Christy Carleson Ramano.

It's already been said, but the first person I think of when I hear the name "Ren" is Ren McCormick from the famous Broadway play and movie "Footloose."

Ren is the Japanese name of Len from the anime Shaman King. This is because, in some cases, the letters R and L are interchangable in Japanese.

This is the name of the pessimisstic Chiwawa in "The Ren and Stimpy Show" and "The Ren and Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon".

Hehe, this name doesn't suit the Ren from "Ren and Stimpy". It can also be short for Renee.

This was the name of Ren McCormack, Kevin Bacon's character in the movie Footloose. (Note: in this instance, "Ren" was a male name.)
