In 2018, 59 is the most common age for an American (U.S.) Rudolph who is registered male with the Social Security Administration. It is the 1, 123rd most common male first name for living U.S. citizens.
Although this name was quite popular in the United States in the early part of the 20th century, when Rudolph Valentino was a sex-symbol of the 1920s, I don't see a name like Rudolph as a fresh choice for a child today - partly because of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, whose fame eclipsed that of Rudolph Valentino in the latter part of the 20th century and thus caused the name Rudolph to decline in popularity, so that since the early 1990s it has not even featured in the American top 1,000. I think the Italian name Valentino is a better choice for a child today than plain old Rudolph - which I also consider rather ugly.
