Comments for the name Sati

Sati means mindfulness in Buddhist philosophy, but in Hinduism and most of India the term Sati means a virtuous woman - according to Hindu tradition a wife who threw herself on the burning pyre of her dead husband and commited suicide.

When I first hear this name, the first word I think is "satiated."
