Cute name for a girl! Better and less used than Shelby!-- Anonymous User 3/18/2008
This definitely sounds like a feminine name to me, I can't imagine it on males. I think this sounds nicer than Shelby, but the name is still a bit youthful, like pretty much anything ending in the ''ee'' sound, except for maybe French names like Coralie. This sounds more like the name of a 12-year-old than a 30-year-old, but it's not the most infantile name out there. It beats Keeley and Kayley any day.-- slight night shiver 5/5/2008
I don't like this name at all. I just thought I might comment that my best friend pronounces Shelby like this because of her speech impediment, and it's kind of run off on me and I have to correct myself a lot.-- baileymarissa 6/1/2009
