According to Wiktionary, it doesn't have the accent, pronounced as /ˈʃʲo.nɛd͡ʒ/, and is the Scottish Gaelic form of Janet (compare Sinéad). https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Seonaid
I was at school in South Africa, with a girl named Seonaid. She pronounced it like Shona, but once she remarked that it should correctly be SHOnid, with the -d sounded. It was, she said, "the Gaelic form of Janet", but in her family the -d was silent because that was easier for other people. I have no idea how accurate this might be.
