I do not have any positive feelings towards this name, probably because I know a Shyla and she is so strange and weird in all ways possible.

This sounds like a phonetic alternative to the name Shaila to me, which is a very common Hindi name but not listed in the database. Shaila is pronounced shy-la and means mountain. Shailah is also a hebrew name, originally male, and is pronounced the same.

I can't say I like it much. It's got a sound that annoys me. It also sounds a bit youthful and tacky, and it seems lazily constructed.
