Sigi as a diminutive for Ezechiel? Explains why I took such a liking to it - since the age of 12, Ezechiel is the name I want for my son if I have one. Though, wouldn't that be Ziggy? Like Ezechiel Ansah.The sound of Sigi is really nice and I was looking for a Nordic mythology name for a pet, though I will have a female and I was under the impression that Siegfried was a male hero. Is this name commonly used for women?
