Also Swedish, Norwegian and Danish (Rare), meaning "sun" in those languages: https://www.nordicnames.de/wiki/Sol
Sol is also sometimes used as a masculine independent given name in Spanish and Portuguese, meaning "sun" in said languages. However, Sol is more common for females. So, I think that the "Gender" of this name should be changed from "Feminine" to "Feminine & Masculine".Sources: https://forebears.io/forenames/sol

It has a masculine gender in Spanish and Portuguese (el Sol, o Sol) but that doesn't make the name itself masculine and it is often paired with Maria in Spanish speaking areas as Maria del Sol.
In Spanish it is used as a feminine name because of the Marian title Nuestra Señora del Sol (Our Lady of the Sun).
Sol also means "the sun" in Swedish. It's a unique name here!
Sol does not mean the sun in Swedish, sol means sun in Swedish. The sun is solen in Swedish.
