I named my son Stellan Jacob in 2010 and I absolutely love it. We live in the US and it’s not a common name in the area where I live. I wanted something different and since Stellan Skarsgard is one of my favorite actors, I chose it. It suits him perfectly.

Stellan has never been very common in Sweden, but it's famous thanks to Stellan Skarsgård. I know one Stellan, but he was named after an older relative. It's becoming a little more common, though, thanks to Skarsgård's popularity.
