Suzanna and Suzanne are more modern and exciting than boring old Susan.-- Anonymous User 10/27/2008
My name is Suzanna, and I am named for my paternal Grandmother and this has been a family name on my father's side for many generations. I was surprised to learn that it hasn't been on the SSA list that frequently or as far back as we've used it.
I love my name, but no one can ever seem to get it right. Throughout school my teachers either used Suzy (my nickname), Susie (NOT my nickname), or Suzanne (NOT my name). If I were to have a daughter, I think I would pass the name on (and if not, maybe a granddaughter!). To me, this is a very fun and very feminine name, and has the advantage of being "unique" while still being "known".-- Anonymous User 2/11/2009
