"Tal" means dew and "ia" is the shorthand for "God" in the Bible. Talia means "God's Dew" in Hebrew. It means a "female sheep" in Arabic. It is also one of the names of the Greek Muses.
I have seen several pronunciations: Tal-Eee-Ah and other spellings for it being Taliea and Taliyah or the pronunciation TAL-ya. Then there is the name Talieya and pronounced Ta-Lee-Ah.

Talia is the daughter of criminal Rahs Al Ghul from the Batman comic series.
I heard Talia is also related to Thalia. So Talia has the meaning of Dew from Heaven but also a Greek Muse. Of course I heard it meant a little lamb which is a baby Sheep. So I believe it is a beautiful name. It has multiple meanings depending on your origin. But I do believe the main meaning is Dew from Heaven.

Talia- Hebrew- Dew from Heaven
Also related to Thalia: From the Greek Èáëåéá (Thaleia), derived from èáëëù (thallo) meaning "to blossom". In Greek mythology she was one of the nine Muses, the muse of comedy and pastoral poetry. This was also the name of one of the three Graces or ×áñéôåò (Charites).

My friend who is Italian-Mexican is named Talia, and is pronounced Tah-lee-ah. She was named after Italy or Italia, since it's where her family descends from.

I like this name; it's not in my favourites list but it's still pretty and I prefer it to the longer Natalia.
There's Talia and then Talia with an accent. Don't mistake it, they get mad! Talia is fast. TALLia. And then Talia (with the accent on the I!) tahhlia or tuhlia. I prefer this one.
