I do believe the meaning of Tonya is Priceless!

Tonya did derive from Antonia. I can see how it can seem that it derived from many other similar names based on the other comments posted. But it derived from Antonia. It is a very pretty name. I love the name Antonia and Tonya.

Also the name Tonya derived from Tania which dervived from Tatiana. Tonya also means fairy queen. Beyond praise, priceless, fairy queen.

I like the name Tonya. It's my name as well. I don't know many other Tonya's. Researching the name I have found the name Tonya to have originated from different origins. My name is Spanish meaning Praiseworthy and Priceless. At least that's what I found. I also came across the name could have derived from the Name Tatiana.
