A well-known character from Douglas Adams' 'Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy' was named Trisha Macmillan, but she later changed her name to 'Trillian' because it sounded more like a space-name.
The spelling Tricia would give this name the appearance of a classy, mature name, but the name is actually neither anyway. It's not the wort name out there, but it's not necessarily a name you want to have past the age of 30, and it's not necessarily a name you want to use on your job applications or theses or whatever. Especially with this less sophisticated spelling. The name even looks ghetto this way. It sounds borderline ghetto to me anyway.
