Ulrike "Ulli" Goldman of the bands Blutengel and (formerly) Say Y.

The name and nickname have a rather nice ring to them.

I first heard this name after I watched the news about a 14-year old girl who was missing (and later found dead) in Germany in 2000. I forgot her surname though because she is more known by her first name only.

Ulrike Marie Meinhof was a German journalist and mother of two turned left-wing militant. She cofounded the Red Army Faction (Rote Armee Fraktion) in 1970 after having previously worked as a journalist for the monthly left-wing magazine Konkret. She was arrested in 1972, along with Andreas Baader, Gudrun Ensslin, and Jan-Carl Raspe, and eventually charged with numerous murders and the formation of a criminal association. Before the trial concluded, Meinhof died in her cell in 1976, aged 41.
She was portrayed by actress Martina Gedeck in the 2008 German film "The Baader-Meinhof Complex", a critical darling and nominee for Best Foreign Language Film at the 81st Academy Awards.

Ulrike is a character in E. T. A. Hoffmann's novel The Life and Opinions of the Tomcat Murr; she gets caught in a love triangle. It's the best book I've ever read, and I like the name Ulrike!
