A famous bearer of this name is the teenage Roman emperor Elagabalus, otherwise known as Heliogabalus, who was best known for his bisexuality and notoriously marrying a virgin priestess. Many royal statesmen found his debauchery annoying and later successfully murdered him. (Personally I think he's one of the more interesting emperors)
