"Vlast" means "authority/(political) power" not "homeland" in Serbian and Croatian. In Czech it means "homeland" so I think that it needs to be noted. [noted -ed]

Vlasta in the Czech Republic is used as a diminutive for Vlastimil, Vlastimir and Vlastislav.
