Meaning & History

Meaning unknown, perhaps an invented name. It was first borne by Vouletti Theresa Singer (1840–1913), a daughter of the American inventor Isaac Singer. The name was passed to the forthcoming generations in her family. Mercedes de Acosta wrote a poem “To Vouletti” dedicated to Vouletti Theresa Singer's granddaughter.
