It's a disgusting name.

I think it is a really cool name, it's very differant and you don't meet people with the name "Wade" often. I also think it is incredibly rude to diss someone's name. You can say you don't like it, but why would you want to say it's disgusting?

One of the boys in my school is named Wade, and he is the only one in about twenty miles with the name. I can say from experience with this boy that Wade is someone who is nice, but takes a lot of things personally. Me and him are pretty much after each others' heads.

Wade 'Cry-Baby' Walker is the name of Johnny Depp's character in the film Cry-Baby, written and directed by John Waters. I happen to love this name, and Cry-Baby is one of the main reasons. =]

I think it's an awesome name even though no one I know has it!

I really like this name. I think it's very calm sounding, yet still full of strength. Wade seems like a person who would be very cool and laid-back.

Wade Wells is the main character from TV series "Sliders". She is played by Sabrina Lloyd.

I don't like the name. It sounds like someone with a flu trying to pronounce Wayne, another rather annoying and old-fashioned name, even though Wayne Coyne from the Flaming Lips seems like a cool enough bearer. Names with a 'w' tend to become a bit annoying in some people's pronunciation, so Americans, beware. The name also makes me think of Roe vs. Wade. As for now, I don't know which was which, so I can't quite know whether to simply dislike the name or to hate it with a passion.

I like this name, I think it's so cute. A bit weird on a girl, but that's just me. Also (no offense to those with this name) it would be a cute name for a duck.

Wade Wilson is the alter ego of Marvel Comics' "Merc with a mouth," Deadpool.

I really dislike this name- it just doesn't sound like a believable name.

Cute as a middle name, but too short as a first name alone.

This sounds extremely silly as a name. I respect its history, such as it being used in Gone with the Wind, but even that doesn't change my opinion.

A neat name that you don't hear often; looks nice written.

I'm sorry, but the name Wade puts in my mind an image of some trailer trash wife-beater from the South. Seriously.

I'm not sure why there are so many negative comments about Wade. It's unusual and is clear and crisp when said. So much better than Wayne in my opinion.
