Ward Hall, known as the King of the Sideshows, is one of the most knowledgeable people alive on the subject. He has been a part of pretty much every aspect of the sideshow and has worked on them for decades. Hall has taken great pains to keep alive the tradition of the sideshow; he's as important in circus history as PT Barnum.

Another, far less interesting bearer of the name Ward is Ward Cleaver, the father of Beaver Cleaver on the TV classic Leave It To Beaver.
