Wilmot Redd was one of the many hanged for being accused of witchcraft during the Salem Witch Trials. She’s a local historical figure in Marblehead.
John Wilmot, 2nd Earl of Rochester (1647–1680) was an English Libertine, a friend of King Charles II, and the writer of much satirical and bawdy poetry.
Wilmot is the title of a track by Sabres of Paradise, one of Andrew Weatherall's musical projects from the 90s.
