Also, Az-Zahir/Al-Zahir (الظاهر) is the 75th of the 99 names of Allah, meaning "the apparent, the manifest, the evident, the outer" (see Zaahir (2)). The "Al-Zahir" meaning "helper, supporter" (الظهير) is not one of the 99 names of Allah:

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Names_of_God_in_Islam#Lists_of_names (Zahir means "the Manifest, the Evident, the Outer")

If you actually search up "ظهير", you'll actually come across the word "Dahir", the name of a Moroccan king's decree: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moroccan_Dahir. But in its defense, it is in fact used as a given name: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Babur (Zahir-ud-Din Muhammed). To sum this up, I believe that Zahir (ظهير) "helper, supporter" is not a name of Allah but is used as a given name by other people, while Zahir (ظاهر) "manifest, emerge, evident" is one of the true names of Allah.
