A character in Marissa Meyer's Lunar Chronicles, called Wolf, is actually named Ze'ev. I thought it was just a cool futuristic name until I found it here! I find that really awesome. Although I prefer just Zev over Zeev, both names are fantastic.

Zeev Rosenstein is an infamous Israeli mafia boss. He was charged with distributing massive amounts of Ecstasy in the United States, after 700,000 tablets were seized in a Manhattan apartment.

It's pronounced zeh-EHV (two syllables), not zev and not zeev (which is a separate name). It would be more appropriately spelled Ze'ev.
