Zillah is also the name of a town in Washington state, located in Yakima County. The town was named after the daughter of Thomas F. Oakes, who, at the time, was president of the Northern Pacific Railway. Legend dictates Oakes told his daughter he would name the town after her if she would stop throwing a temper tantrum.
