Zsolt is an old ancient name belonging to one of the sons of Arpad the head chief of the Hungarian (Magyar) tribes who formed the Magyar nation in the 8th-9th century CE. To the best of my knowledge it has no relationship to Zoltan which is more likely a derivative of Sultan originating in the 16th-17th Century CE.
