Re: Max or a longer form nn Max?
in reply to a message by Lily
Just Max is best. It works fine. If I needed a full name I'd go for Maxwell or maybe Maxfield. Or maybe osmething annoying like Marcus nn Max.I guess people have suggested Maxim, which I like a fair amount in theory, but for my own use it seems kind of foreign and contrived (double standards applied to myself). I also like it more as a full name than nicknamed, since, as I've said, I hate Max. :PI don't feel like giving Max a full name gives him many more options, not more than one anyway. And if you do go by a nickname constantly, it can be annoying filling out forms and stuff. My friend Stan was complaining the other day about being held up in the airport because one thing said Stan and another said Stanley. Shrug.Oh, there's also these:
http://www.behindthename.com/submit/browse/m (scroll down to Max-)Maxander's kind of funny.
Maxence too.
Uhh, I guess that's all of them.
