HelpRe: Could these place names be used as female names?

I think the reason they sound like names is because they all basically are names with one letter changed, which makes them all sound kind of silly.
Sassandra - Cassandra
Saranda - Miranda
Mirissa - Marissa
Honiara - Honoria
Elmina - Elmira
Sirmione - Hermione / Simone
Dimona and Taormina don't really sound like any real name, but they don't sound like names at all.
