I love Ulysses and hope that people associate it with Greek mythology! I definitely think it's usable.

So many good choices, and yes, I think of Odysseus as well as President Grant. I like to see complicated names like Ulysses with short middles, so my favorites on this list are Ulysses Max and Ulysses Anton.
