The only Demetrius I knew was pudgy, extremely smart, bit of a know-it-all, but still very nice. He was Greek.

Demetrius and all its variants are totally Greek where I live, and most of them go by Jimmy. Which, I assume, is a courtesy to the rest of us, who might not be familiar with their actual name and might make the wrong guess based on similar sounds.

The ones I've known have been delightful!
