I suppose George and Arthur would be less popular and therefore more distinctive. Jack and Alexander ... not really; not now. Good names, though. And I can't stand Samuel, but that's just me.If it were me, I'd use Thomas, nn Tom, as the fn. Thomas Arthur. Or, Thomas Arthur John (which somewhat allows Jack to get a look-in).

I like Thomas a lot but it's my grandfather, father and brother's name, and my brother has told me he'd like to use it as a fn for a son.
