Boaz - I just have never warmed to this one. It's odd sounding to my ears
Abel - love it. I think it's really lovely, I have a friend Abel who is a cool jazz muso :)
Jairus - is it jy-rus? Not a fan
Japheth - really cool. I like this one.
Sonny - I will never understand the appeal or popularity of this one!

Yes Jairus is jy-rus. DH isn't keen either! Nor is he keen on Boaz :( Not too sure about his thoughts on Abel. Japheth he was so so on and I don't think he likes Sonny!
He just keeps suggesting "boring" names like Michael, Joshua, Max, stuff like that which are so ridiculously common and popular! Nice names, just too common for me.
He's not into Ezra, Amos or Jed at the moment either, which is a shame.
He does like Moses, but agrees it doesn't really fit with our other kids names, as it's more "heavy". He also doesn't mind Rufus, but I'm not entirely sure I can see us with a DS named Rufus. He doesn't mind Asher, but doesn't love it.
His suggestions were Seth (no), Felix (?), Reuben (love it but no for a few reasons), Jonah, Jesse and Silas.
It's always tricky!
