When you see Cocoa or Coco on a pet here in the US, it's usually on a dog, very often a chocolate Lab. (Also Mocha; people think they're being so clever.)
You definitely see an awful lot of Max, Bella, Bailey and Bo/Beau too. My friend at work just got a new dog, some kind of Australian heeler mix; his name's Bo. He came already named so she decided Bo was short for Bos'un, or Boatswain.
I swear Bailey is the most tired dog name there is.

I've heard Max several times for pets. I think it's just friendly and energetic and easy to shout, so it works well.My cousin has a cat named Nala, and her mom has a cat named Coco. The only one I haven't heard used is Pip.
