Here are the names of the children I've had the pleasure of teaching this past year. They would all be 7 years old now, rising 8 this coming academic year. Where I've picked up siblings' names and ages, I've included these but they're a bit of an education guess! I've put common nicknames that we used in "_".
Tia May [Adam, twin; Callum, 10; Lucy, 14; Ally, 19; Sarah, 24; Matt ?. Sarah had two children: Chantal, 2 and Summer, 1, plus a boy on the way]

Interesting names that I read during transition (old Year 1s going to be Year 2s this coming year): Jaylen, Nozizwe Mai, Chayce (girl), Rillie, Tamaly, Jenson.
If it wasn't totally obvious, the school I worked in was in England (more specifically Worcestershire) and the children were an eclectic mix from privileged families and from disadvantaged backgrounds.

None of the class really stands out to me. There's a few I like (Florence, Daisy, Valentine, Kieran) but most are just meh.
However, what on earth is Rillie and Tamaly?
Because I'm pronouncing Rillie very close to "really" and Tamaly the same as "tamale."
If you tell me Rillie is supposed to be pronounced like Riley, I'm gonna be Upset™.
