I have known, know, or have met people named Jericho, Jerrah, Yoshiko, Shizuka, Sayaka, Bianca, and Karina. I know of others named Kaori and Momoka. My husband's middle name is Shamim, which means "odor" or "scent" in Arabic.

The only ones that look even slightly familiar are Bianka and Karina, and I can't for the life of me connect them with any smell!Like Tassiegirl, I was thinking about flower names - or nature names in general I suppose. Ocean? Savannah? At least as fragrant as Rose.

I think Bianka and Karina were in the submitted section as Japanese with fragrance listed as one of many possible interpretations of ka.

some of them are interesting, and even useable. Though I haven't run across anyone of those names.
Before I read your list, I was thinking more about actual scents, such as Rose, or Jasmine. A young relative of mine has a cat named Shazi. :)

Hi noel !!!
Your list is beautiful!
But next time help us so search them fastly.
Now I have no time to find all these submitted names but let me see...I know a real life girl called Abir and I like this name!
I just learned the meaning of Fang and Xiang. They are good.
Keturah is a lovely Hebrew name as I love the incense smell.
I saw Burcu in a Tv series and I kept it in my PNL.
Momoka is so sweet and lovely as Kaori. Both great.
I know the name Basemath. It is fascinating and close to another name that I like (Basma) that means 'smile'.
I've already seen Khantarot but I can't remember where. It is handsome though.
I'm interested in Azuray and Balsamia especially the last one. It flows well in Italian as 'balsamico' (balsamic) is my favourite kind of perfumes. But it can be confused with 'bàlsamo' (balm) so I think that it could never be popular here.
At the end we have Myrrh and Myrrha: I prefer Keturah for this kind of scent as Mirra (Italian form) gives me a vibe of archaic yes, but in a negative way. It is not an open-minded name. I know I'm odd but Keturah is far better than it.About scents and names..
I can list the names that remind me a fragrance before than their objects:Tiaré and Monoi - Tahitian flowers with a wonderful scent.
I think that Tiaré is a beautiful name as it is similar to the word "tiara" a kind of diadem, crown. After the final é makes it more refined and elegant imo.Mira (Medieval Judeo-Spanish for Myrrha)Lillà (lilac plant) But I firstly think about the smell.
