If you were to...
... give a boy a traditionally female name or middle name, a la the celebrity girl babies being named James and Maxwell, what would you choose? For me, I can imagine Tess, Nell, Alice, and Eliza in the middle name spot, like Henry Nell or Charles Alice. I guess don't count names like Esme, Rowan, Sidney, Morgan etc. in this category as they are also historically male/unisex, or "female" spellings of names that are otherwise identical (Frances/Francis)

PearlA few years ago, my dad said he thought Pearl S. Buck (author of The Good Earth) was a man. It’s been a GP ever since.

One of my great great grandparents had a brother named Pearl.

I think it was somewhat common for men about 90-130 years ago...which was when Pearl Buck was born.

Victor Marie or Victor Katherine. Both honoring names.Edit: partner and I have also seriously discussed Victor Luna and Victor Marion, but I think the latter falls in the historically male category.

AutumnI also like Rose and Grace on a boy, but think those wouldn't fare as well IRL.

My name is Autumn and I can definitely see it being used on a boy.

I thought about saying Autumn, but seems it unisex to me, even though in usage, it's feminine. I like it slightly more for a boy than a girl.

I've long thought that Jane would work as a middle name for a boy, because of the character Patrick Jane, from the Mentalist. I know in the show, Jane is his last name, but whenever he was introduced as 'Patrick Jane', I found myself thinking it could work as a male middle name. When I pair it with male first names, I'm always surprised how well it seems to work...Alexander Jane
Edward Jane
Nathaniel Jane... and so on, so forth. So yep, Jane for me!

Oh! Nice idea, I'm not opposed to giving a boy a traditionally female name.
I came across a male character named Nia and I really liked that. And a couple of my male relatives are named Salomé, so I've always seen that name as unisex.I'm seriously considering naming a son Silva Nicomedes, and I might give a son the middle name Salomé.And just for fun, some feminine names I think suit guys:
Soledad
Queralt
Asta
Mavis
Eunice
Tirzah
Cessair

I like Silva.

Samantha Elizabeth (Sam Eli)

Middles are difficult but I think I’d go for something along the lines of Jayne Theodore Ambrose.

Is Erin cheating? It's not a spelling of Aaron but it sounds similar. Ellen
Elaine
Alanis
Saga
Jade
Rose
Norah (but not Nora, the h makes it look like Noah and seems more masculine)
Joan
Shirin (but not Shireen)

Oh yes - Ellen, (Hellen), & Elaine! Love this

Artemis or Hazel

I love Hazel on a boy. Artemis too. :)

I think Hazel sounds really cute and quirky on a guy :)
And then the nn 'Haze' would be cool

For a first name I'd go with Lotus. it's always been a GP for me for a boy. Lotus Marino Constantine
For a MN, I'd probably go with an honouring name:Thorsten Margaret Constantine
If forced to make a entire combo out of feminine names, I'd take the most masculine sounding variants of honouring names and a more abscure feminine name that sounds slightly masculine to begin with.Alecto Sylvaine Pieternel or maybe Juno Pieternel Marine

Fern ...unless that counts as unisex. My 2nd choice right now would be Winifred.

EmmaI have always really liked Emma for a boy. I also like Eliza, Artemis and Hester for a boy too.

IS Emile OK too - Which may or may not sound like Emily??

It's interesting, Hester swings boy for me in a way that Esther doesn't. I can imagine a James Hester or Samuel Hester very well. (I guess I think of Artemis as at least half boy because of Artemis Fowl).

Probably a virtue name, like William Hope or Matthew Constance

I like Hope as masculine.

Ooh both of those are really lovely.
