Magdalina
I prefer this spelling to Magdalena, because many pronounce it as “magda-layna,” which is fine; but I just prefer the “eena” ending, hence MagdalINA. But WDYT?“For once you have tasted flight, you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward; for there you have been and there you will long to return.” - Leonardo da Vinci

Magdalina looks like a spelling mistake, or the not very good best efforts of a SpellCheck. And it is a spelling error - the version I prefer is Magdalen, and I'd never even speculate about Magdalin.

I love the name Magdalena and I pronounce it the same as you. I don't care for other spellings because they just look off. I've never met anyone with this name, which makes sense considering that for the last two decades it's barely made the US charts, if at all. I guess it entirely depends on where you live. If you live in a place where it's popular and commonly pronounced -layna, then the -lina spelling may be a better alternative.

I like it a lot! Just have to be ready for people to misspell it
