Re: Choose one :)
I like Isla, Joanna, Rosalia.
No particular fave, but would probably pick Isla if I had to name a baby from this list. I don't love its spelling, with the S, but I love the sound of it.
Joanna is a great name, sunny, but seems a little staid for a child due to being dated for me, and Rosalia is just beautiful, but not quite my style.Dounia is the most appealing spelling to me, because it forces me to say the ooo sound, and gets rid of the Dun part that looks to my English-only brain like it rhymes "nun." The name is very nice sounding, but doesn't look nice to me without the O.Grazyna is lovely too. It's new to me and I'd have to be taught to say it aloud, though, and that always makes me feel a little distant from names, like I can't just say I like them the way I can say I like Joanna.I just don't seem to go for N names very much so Naira and Nephele are just ok. Cool names for other people. Nolwenn is a "no-" name, and I'm sensitive to that for some reason, so I don't like it. Talya is another first-initial problem for me ... I just don't really like a lot of T-names, they have a certain vibe for me.Alicia, Olivia, and Bella are good names - I'm overexposed to them, though, and don't find their sounds to be as interesting.I guess Talya and Nolwenn are my least faves, though I don't have a great reason not to like them.- mirfak
