I personally believe for a good fantasy story is Jack,I don’t really know but I just like the name jack even though it’s not really exciting.

Jack and Jill, Jack and the Beanstalk, Hansel and Gretel ... the most common nn forms of the most popular name at the time. So I suppose the present-day equivalent would be, perhaps, Liam, nn Lee?
