Re: Names Ruined By Their Bearers
Marissa is the queen of this. I would actually like this name if it weren't for an awful childhood bully. Given how much of a snot-nosed brat she was - snide, incising, and on occasion even physically aggressive - I don't exactly have high hopes on what kind of adult she grew up to be.The king would then be Connor. He was a year below me in college / university, and after his freshman year he seemed to decide that he hated my guts. To this day I have no idea what would turn him so sour toward me, but whatever the origin his behavior was definitely calculated. I say this because he was only terrible to me when there wasn't an audience. So other people in the dorm just thought I was being "sensitive" and would go, "Come on, he's... he's just Connor!"A few years after I graduated, however, I heard he had started "dating" a sixteen-year-old in town (I put that in quotes because she was friggin' 16) and other scummy things, and I felt completely vindicated.***Please rate my personal name lists:www.behindthename.com/pnl/69381
