I really vibe with Viviette. It's so spunky. However I love Vivienne. It's so swanky, sophisticated and slinky. I've known a couple of Viviennes, one was genuinely one of the sweetest ladies I've ever known, the other is a friend of a friend who is channelling Anjelica Huston vibes. Sweetest lady once you get past the terrifying gothic ice queen exterior. Both have been elegant brunettes with on-point taste and endless charm.Vivian is more down-to-earth and sensible. Vivian knows how to milk a cow and/or can hold her own in the roughest dive bar.Vivien and Viviana are my least favourites. I don't get much of a vibe from them. They're fine. But they're just fine. They're nice names, but I do find them a bit...eh...

Vivienne is a recent name crush of mine, so that one. Plus, I love how nicely it rolls off the tongue.

My ranking is Vivian > Vivien > Vivienne > Viviette. I've always loved Vivian - it's so lively, and one of the few names I like on both men and women.

VIVIAN. I like Vivian the best because it was the name of my grandmother, a woman who I deeply love and cared for. The other names I'm not a fan of at all other than Viviana. I especially hate Vivienne because it's so frilly looking. Vivian isn't, it means business. Vivian is dainty but tough with a punch. Vivian is simple, not over the top. I'm noticing that some people prefer Vivienne to Vivian. Great! More Vivian for me. To honor my grandmother, I would prefer to use Vivian as a middle name, but I'm up for it as a first name. I would rather use Viviana as a first name, but I like Vivian more. On my bio, I have many combos with it as a middle name. One reason that I love it as a middle name is because it goes with so many names! I also like Vivica, another related name that's very rare. Some suggestions I have are:
Vivian Elise (favorite combo with Vivian as a first)
Vivian Melinda
Vivian Charlotte
Vivian Marie
Vivian Louise (my grandmother's)
Vivian Denise
Vivian Claire
Freya Vivian (top name atm)
Astrid Vivian
Alyssa Vivian
Karina Vivian

1: Vivian
2: Vivienne
3: Viviana
4: Vivien
5: VivietteVivian and Vivienne are pretty to me, though a little old-fashioned. Vivian is a little higher because it rolls off the tongue better.
Viviana is very pretty and ,in a way, unique. An interesting take on Vivian.
Vivien is fine, but it just doesn't speak to me in the ways that Vivian, Vivienne and Viviana do.
Viviette, to me at least, is weird, doesn't roll off the tongue well and isn't very attractive.

There's also Vionnet which is pronounced Vee - o - nay

In English, Vivian is or perhaps was male and Vivien female. Vivienne is French, and I cannot for the life of me see the point of using a French spelling but not the French pronunciation. Viviana is fine if you need a saint's name, but really not unless: too long and clumsy. Viviette ... almost, but not quite, a cloth for dabbing one's mouth with. I like Vivien enough to consider using it; the others, not.

Vivian. I don't like the name in general, but if I had to choose a spelling / form, it'd be the one I'm most familiar with :)
