I do not like all those trendy spellings of popular names: Hayleigh, Jaxon, Kayden, Kassidy etc.
I really like good old fashioned names. Mary, Elizabeth, Henry, John.
I think it’s fine to give your child a name from another culture. Carmen is a lovely name and I’d use it even though I’m not Hispanic.
I love the name Penelope
