I've read that thread and I can't figure it out. Corinth is not the origin of Cynthia - it is from Kynthos, the name of the mountain on which Diana/Artemis was supposed to have been born (Cynthia being another name of Artemis).

You'd be better off finding out what "Kynthos" means, as "Corinth" has nothing to do with Cynthia.
