Keo- is a common prefix in Hawaiian, but it's more likely that the name is Japanese. (Also, pu'uwai is the Hawaiian word for heart.) Keoma could be a corruption of a Japanese name beginning "Ky" or "Ki."

Yah, it means strong heart in my people's language, so of course it wouldn't be the same in Hawaiian. I was just wondering if my name had other instances in foreign cultures.
