Tyler and Evie Manning met in college and got married once Tyler graduated from medical school. Tyler is working as a psychiatrist at an inpatient residential program. Evie recently returned to teaching after an eighteen-year hiatus to raise her kids. She is enjoying the nineteen first graders she teaches each day.
Isaiah, 20, is in his third year of undergraduate study and is hoping to go to law school. He enjoys hiking and football.
Kaylee, 19, is in her second year of undergraduate study. She wants to go to medical school, but is definitely not interested in psychiatry. She enjoys dancing and anything to do with music--in fact, she leads her college's very own Zumba club!
Jenna, 17, is a senior in high school. She loves baking, scrapbooking, and playing the piano. She also scored a photography internship with a local company, and works there several afternoons each week.
Ezra, 14, is a freshman in high school. He loves anything to do with sports--his favorites being ice hockey and lacrosse. He wants to become a firefighter after high school graduation, and is trying to convince Evie that she shouldn't be worried about his safety.
