I'd prefer different names as long as they don't totally clash. I don't mind them having some connection as long as it is not totally cheesy like
same meaning: Aurora and Dawn
fliped initals: Jacob Elijah and Emily Jane
or even a obvious theme if they still have different names: Rose and Lily
What I don't much care for is matching initals, though If you just happen to like those names but that is okay. I hate names that are almost the same like the first two on the list. That is just ridiculous. I think I'd would just name twins my favorite two names just as if they were regular siblings and not twins.
