I only found Zinka as a Russian severe or dunning form of Zinaida.

("Verächtlich" means contomptuous but I asked a Russian girl who told me that the "ka"-ending forms are not insulting but severe.)

Curious about "ka" ending...I checked out the link you gave, Minerva, thanks. I'm confused as to how the last form of the names given when using "ka" can be both "affectionate and disrespectful". Could you explain further, or explain in what context you'd use the "ka" version rather than the pet version? Thanks in advance!
