I actually found Halaya on wikipedia's page of color names (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_colors) in which it was identified as a rich eggplant sort of color. The color actually comes from "ube halaya" which is a dessert made from purple yams.Edith is a very dusty yellow color to me and I just loved the yellow/purple combo :)
