These are awesome! Eve Dandelion! Sylvie Charles! Calix Buddy!!I could see Monte being used as a pet name for Monroe. It works the same way "Zazu" is a pet name for my mom's dog Sasha. It comes from the nonsensical place of the heart.

Thanks so much! I have hope that I can get my SO on board with Dandelion - he seems to be pretty open to "whacky" MNs. Glad to see someone else likes Sylvie Charles... someone on here suggested it to me not long ago but now I can't remember who, and it's my favorite Sylvie combo to date :) Buddy is one I don't normally go for but it's my g'pas name and I thought it may help to "tone down" Calix a bit

Thank you! I try to fit Whitney in where I can if not in the first name spot :)

I like:
Freya Noelle
Edith Hayala - Where is Hayala from? Reminds me of Himalaya
Leander - I guess I like it, not a fav.

I actually found Halaya on wikipedia's page of color names (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_colors) in which it was identified as a rich eggplant sort of color. The color actually comes from "ube halaya" which is a dessert made from purple yams.Edith is a very dusty yellow color to me and I just loved the yellow/purple combo :)
