Aloysius Pang (Chinese: 冯伟衷; pinyin: Féng Wěizhōng; 1990 – 2019) was a Singaporean actor managed under NoonTalk Media, best known for his involvement in multiple Mediacorp dramas.

For a native German speaker this name is forever linked to a comedy piece by Ludwig Thoma titled 'Der Münchner I'm Himmel' (A man from Munich in heaven). It was frequently played by German Radio stations. The main protagonist of the piece is a beer loving man from Munich who misses the beer in heaven. He is sent back to earth with a special order, but he ends up in the Hofbräuhaus drinking beer.
Never heard of this name, but it looks and sounds a bit weird.
Maybe hard to pull off in modern days but I'm getting very strong Atticus Finch vibes form this name, an Aloysius could fit in a dusty old town. I'll keep it in mind for future older characters, but that's my only thought of uses for it.

I thought this was such a great name. I named my dog Aloysius. At the time I found the name interesting, and that it was from a brave and noble warrior. My dog was abused as a pup so I thought if I gave him a strong name, then maybe he could live up to it and become a strong and brave pup.

Aloysius Viktor Stepinac (8 May 1898 – 10 February 1960) was a Croatian Catholic cardinal who was Archbishop of Zagreb from 1937 to 1960. Sounds like an old grandad to me and it's even more hideous than Albert and Arthur or even Ada and Agnes, the grandma names. Plus I find a name like Aloysius a bit too elaborate in both spelling and sounds (as opposed to the other four names).
